Youth Basketball League

Basketball is back at SCC! Get back out on the basketball court this season with our recreational basketball league. Teams are formed by grade with the following divisions:

Teams will practice on court for 30 mins than have a 30 min scrimmage each session on Saturdays.
Cost:$130
Practices: One day a week
Games: Thursdays and most Saturdays
Price: $150
Practices: One day a week
Games: Wednesdays and most Saturdays
Price: $150
Practices: One day a week
Games: Tuesdays or Thursdays and most Saturdays
Price: $150

When? Team practices will start in early December and games will start in early January

Where? Various schools in Stratford: Second Hill Lane Elementary School, Birdseye Complex, or Wooster Middle School

Registration closes on November 9th.

Late registrants will be placed on a waitlist and incur a $30 late fee

Rec League Skills Evaluation Clinic

Each player Grades 5th -8th must attend 1 Skills Evaluation Clinic:

Players will be evaluated on their skills to help determine team placement for improved team skill balance

November 10 & 11 at Wooster Middle School

Grades 5 & 6: 6:15 PM - 7:15 PM
Grades 7 & 8: 7:15 PM - 8:15 PM

Developmental Basketball Program

Building a strong foundation

January 2025

Co-ed | Grades 1 & 2 | 6 Weeks | 1 Hr

Build a strong foundation of basketball in a structured, team-like setting. Players will be assigned teams with a coach.

Groups will practice for the first 30 mins, followed by 30 mins of scrimmaging

Schedule changes each week - Saturdays: 11:15 am or 12:30 pm

High School Basketball League

Fun competition with your friends

January 2025

Registration ends December 20th.

Boys in JV Division for 9th and 10th grade & Varsity Division for 11th & 12th graders. Players are encouraged to form their own teams with a required adult coach over the age of 21. Students playing for a high school team are not eligible for this league due to CIAC state rules.
