Our Food Pantry
Our pantry welcomes individuals and families, and offers a variety of food, toiletries, diapers, and pet food. Patrons can visit the pantry once per month unless circumstances call for extra support.

Monday: 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM
Tuesday: 1:00 PM - 3:00 PM
Thursday: 3:00 PM-5:00 PM
We can accommodate evening appointments upon request.

What do I bring on my first visit?
On your first visit to our Food Pantry, please bring:
Identification
Reusable bags to carry food/supplies
Be ready to share household size and ages

We accept donations of food and supplies Monday-Friday from 9:00 am - 5:00 pm. Please bring donations to the front desk.

Food-4-Kids
A proud partnership between Sterling Community Center, Sodexo, & Stratford Public Schools
Each Friday during the school year, the Food-4-Kids Program fills almost 200 bags with easy-to-make meals and snacks for children in grades K-12 in Stratford Public Schools to take home for the weekend.
Do you need a backpack?
Contact your school administrators, guidance counselors, or social workers.
Want to Support Food-4-Kids?
Want to donate or host a food drive for our Food-4-Kids program! Here’s a list of items needed:
Bread (small loaves/rolls)
Ramen noodles
Mac & Cheese/Easy Mac
Easy-open Canned Goods: Vegetables, Fruit, Chef Boyardee, Soup, Baked Beans
Breakfast foods: Pop-Tarts, Instant Oatmeal, Cereal

Curbside Thanksgiving Food Pantry
Our Thanksgiving Giveback provides Stratford families with low to moderate incomes with the holiday meal essentials they need to enjoy a warm Thanksgiving meal, complete with a turkey & all the fixings.

This program supports Stratford families with low to moderate incomes who could use a little extra help providing toys and gifts for their children during the holiday season.

What You’ll Need to Register
Birth certificates for all children (18 or younger)
Proof of guardianship if you are the legal guardian
Verification of income (most current year tax form)
Verification of address (utility bill)
